Position Overview:

We're seeking our founding account executive to manage and implement our sales strategy, including prospecting, lead generation, and new sales channel development to drive revenue growth. This person will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Product to align sales strategies with business objectives.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods to generate leads and identify potential clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through consistent follow-ups and engagement.
  • Research target industries and businesses to identify decision-makers and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition and address client needs.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine outreach strategies and share feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Track outreach activities and update CRM systems or relevant tools.
  • Prepare pitching materials.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic startup environment and embraces the challenges of building sales processes from the ground up.
  • 7 years of full-cycle sales experience in a founding role of a fast-paced technology company.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven success selling technical solutions, particularly in the robotics and/or AI space to commercial customers.
  • Excels in enterprise-level sales, adept at navigating complex sales cycles and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Consistent track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets, even in resource-constrained environments.
  • Proficient in pipeline management, CRM tools, and data-driven sales optimization.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support sales activities.
  • Comfortable overcoming objections and maintaining a positive attitude in the face of selling challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience targeting small/medium sized businesses.
  • Experience in the hardware space.
  • Technical or solution engineering experience is a plus.
