The Director of Continuous Improvement is a high-level professional responsible for driving enterprise-wide initiatives to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and enhance overall organizational performance. This role involves leading the design, implementation, and oversight of operational excellence programs, including the Laticrete Next Level initiative, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive cultural change. They will be proficient in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (certification at the Black Belt level or higher is preferred).
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills are essential.
