Vice President of Human Resources Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze HR operations through the use of metrics and analytics, proactively leveraging information to address any trends and improve future performance.
- Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's business objectives. Programs, procedures, training, and guidelines are developed to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Conducts a continuing study of all human resources policies, programs, and practices to keep the leadership team informed of new developments while also remaining compliant with standards and regulations in each state where we operate.
- Develop and formalize training and development programs in collaboration with department leaders in order to standardize the training and onboarding process for new hires.
- Serve as a strategic partner by working closely with upper management and leadership to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Oversees and supports the optimized utilization of our company HRIS system, ensuring a successful and robust company technical platform is in place, in support of our employees.
Requirements:
- 8 years of managing a professional HR team in a medical setting (Hospital or Healthcare Systems REQUIRED).
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 10 plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
- Proven experience with HRIS systems, maximizing efficiencies through technology and implementing new systems.
