The Role:
This position serves as the main contact for camera pre-sales in North America, reporting to the Director of Pre-Sales, Americas.
You will be the subject matter expert on high-end video production and the tools that support 'broadcast quality' production environments.
This includes studio and mobile systems using traditional baseband and newer infrastructure like 2110.
You'll work with a broad spectrum of users and decision-makers from different sectors, including content production, networks, corporate entities, rental and staging groups, and houses of worship.
Responsibilities include predicting client camera needs, creating competitive solutions, communicating technical concepts, and establishing long-standing relationships with customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Predicting client camera needs and creating competitive solutions
- Mechanical knowledge and self-sufficiency
- Communicating technical concepts to various audiences
- Cultivating connections with current and future customers
- Knowledge of imager and color science
- Presentation skills
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Understanding of professional video cameras, baseband, and IP infrastructure
- Broadcast and cine lenses expertise
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, and computer applications
- Excellent English command
Preferred Qualifications:
- PowerPoint presentation editing and organization
- Image creation and editing
- Travel coordination and time management skills
Nice to Have:
- Multi-lingual proficiency (Spanish, Dutch, others)
- Experience responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Transporting and storing demo equipment safely
- Working in multiple environments
