Job Overview
This position sits on the leadership team of the Senior Director, External Manufacturing Procurement and is a key advisor of the GSK global external manufacturing strategy. The director engages senior internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements, use market intelligence to develop strategies, and ultimately deliver solutions to support GSK's supply chains.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain external market knowledge and serve as a key representative for GSK to the CMO industry.
- Cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders to support GSK's business strategy and communicate supply chain insights.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have 8 years' experience in the procurement and management of large molecule and vaccine drug substance from CMOs. A Master's degree in business administration, supply chain, procurement or a relevant technical field is preferred.
