About the District
The district serves approximately 1,600 students in Pre-K to Grade 12 across three schools: Taft Early Learning Center, Whitin Intermediate School, and Uxbridge High School.
The Town of Uxbridge is located in southern Worcester County, halfway between Worcester, MA and Providence, RI, with a population of approximately 14,000 residents.
Requirements and Benefits
The successful candidate must exhibit strong leadership skills, proven performance of past leadership, and a record of building and directing successful teams.
A master's degree is required; a Ph.D. or Ed.D. is preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensing as Superintendent of Schools in Massachusetts.
