This 1,120,845 square foot facility is home to about 470 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits and 9Lives. The location has a cannery that produces wet dog food and there is also a Distribution Center on-site.
About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and driven Site Vice President (VP) to take our operations to the next level. As the Site VP, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, leading a dedicated team to ensure excellence in people and food safety, operations, maintenance, quality, and environmental practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, making a real difference in our processes and performance.
- Play a key role in creating an accident-free workplace and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Foster high engagement and performance.
- Identify and solve performance constraints with company-wide expertise.
- Optimize talent through planning, assessment, and actions.
- Address facility issues via daily production meetings.
- Evaluate and manage plant capacity to meet customer demands.
- Adapt to production plan variations while maintaining cost and quality.
- Lead product and capacity management for operational excellence.
- Participate in corporate strategic planning for cost, profit, and growth.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Represent Post Consumer Brands in the community and with agencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, Science or related field. Graduate degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years combined related experience, including 5 years of management experience as an Operations Manager or other roles at the Plant Manager or Plant Director level. Experience leading in a union environment.
