About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the YMCA Alliance of Northern New England. The CEO will be responsible for leading the organization's efforts to strengthen local YMCAs and expand their impact within the communities they serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team providing strategic services to YMCA member organizations, including strategic planning, board development, and governance.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the Ys in the Alliance and includes defined organizational strategies, implementation plans, and measurable goals.
- Elevate and advance the Alliance's advocacy efforts, working in partnership with all Ys in the Alliance on critical state, regional, and federal issues.
- Position the Alliance and member Ys as vital partners for community and statewide change, serving as an ambassador for the mission, purpose, and vision of the Alliance.
Requirements:
- Accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fiscally sound business and organizational management with a proven track record of budgetary and fiscal management.
- Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience at a comparable organization.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills with a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and effective communication.
