About the Role
San Diego Youth Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Youth and Family Support Partner to join our HERE Now program. In this full-time, temporary position, you will work in collaboration with our team to provide comprehensive trauma-informed school-based suicide prevention and early intervention services to middle and high school youth, transitional aged-youth, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and deliver the Signs of Suicide (SOS) presentation to students and caregivers
- Provide risk assessments and crisis intervention resources and support services to youth/families
- Collaborate with school personnel and community stakeholders to reduce disparities and stigma in accessing mental health services
- Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated trauma-informed approach for youth and families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field
- Minimum two years' experience working with youth, family, and community development
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Arabic required
