Under the general direction of the Senior Vice President, the Branch Director provides administrative leadership for the branch by providing direction to the accomplishment of branch goals and objectives for Fiscal Management, Board / Volunteer Development, Human Resources Management, Financial Development, Program Development, Member / Participant Satisfaction, Facility Management, Public Relations, Planning, and Administration. All functions are performed by Central Coast YMCA policies and bylaws.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) in management is strongly recommended, or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; five years related experience and / or training in management, fundraising, work with policy-making volunteers, fiscal management and administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the desirable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Outstanding human relations skills are essential for this position, as is a clear understanding of the principle that the YMCA is a partnership of volunteers and staff working together to achieve mutually agreed-upon goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate.
