Responsibilities
As a Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist, your main responsibilities will include
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines.
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
- Developing and optimizing machining processes by adjusting speeds, feeds, and other settings.
- Using G code and other CNC machine language to program the machine.
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubricating.
- Ensuring that all parts produced meet quality and efficiency standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with machines and production processes.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to develop new and improved machining processes.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures in the workplace.
To be considered for the Consulting CNC Lathe Machinist role, you must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathe machines.
- In-depth knowledge of G code and other CNC machine language.
- Experience working with 3 and 4 axis machines.
- Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
