Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Apprentice CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team and develop their skills in precision machining. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn CNC lathe operations, setup, and troubleshooting while working alongside experienced machinists. The apprentice will receive hands-on training in a high-precision manufacturing environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. Requirements:- Prior machining or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred).
- Willingness to learn First Article Inspections and basic program editing.
- Ability to maintain close tolerances as training progresses.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn CNC machines such as Nakamura, Ikegai, Mazak, Hardinge, or Hitachi Seiki.
- Exposure to or willingness to learn Mazak, Fanuc, or Hardinge controls.
