We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the manufacturing industry where you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations, advanced Excel, billing, payment processing, and expense management. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help drive the financial success of our company. These tasks include
- Conducting detailed financial analyses and preparing financial reports to support business decision-making processes.
- Performing reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Utilizing advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large data sets, develop financial models, and create impactful presentations.
- Handling all aspects of billing, including invoice generation, payment processing, and resolution of any billing issues.
- Overseeing expense management, including the review and approval of expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information for financial analyses and budgeting.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.
- Continuously improving processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reconciliations, billing, and payment processing.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Strong understanding of expense management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide meaningful insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a drive for continuous improvement.
