We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the manufacturing industry where you will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, with a focus on reconciliations, advanced Excel, billing, payment processing, and expense management. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities :

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that help drive the financial success of our company. These tasks include :

1. Conducting detailed financial analyses and preparing financial reports to support business decision-making processes.

2. Performing reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

3. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyze large data sets, develop financial models, and create impactful presentations.

4. Handling all aspects of billing, including invoice generation, payment processing, and resolution of any billing issues.

5. Overseeing expense management, including the review and approval of expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

6. Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information for financial analyses and budgeting.

7. Assisting in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.

8. Continuously improving processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounting function.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in reconciliations, billing, and payment processing.

4. Advanced skills in Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.

5. Strong understanding of expense management principles and best practices.

6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide meaningful insights.

7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a drive for continuous improvement.
