We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Desktop Support professional to join our team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who is eager to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our team, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. You will be dealing with a broad range of technologies including iPad, iPhone, AV Equipment, Network Printers and scanners, Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Exchange 365. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class technical support to all staff members, resolving issues related to iPads, iPhones, AV equipment, network printers, and scanners.
• Maintain and manage Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring all data is secure and accessible to relevant team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange 365, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the team.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems, contributing to the overall technological advancement of the company.
• Train staff members on the use of various technologies, ensuring they can effectively utilize them to improve their productivity and efficiency.
• Regularly update and maintain all systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and running at optimal efficiency.
• Develop and implement effective IT policies and procedures, ensuring the security and integrity of all systems.
• Regularly assess the company's technological needs, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Energy industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide range of technologies, including iPad, iPhone, AV Equipment, Network Printers and scanners.
• Proficiency in Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Exchange 365 is essential.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff members.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified Messaging Administrator Associate, will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• A proactive and forward-thinking approach, with the ability to anticipate and plan for future technological needs.
