We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Import/ Export Coordinator to join our thriving Accounting Finance industry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the import and export process, including order processing, purchase orders, and purchasing. Responsibilities
As a Consulting Import/ Export Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include
- Overseeing and managing the entire import and export process in compliance with company policy and regulations.
- Processing orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Managing purchase orders and purchasing activities, including supplier negotiations and cost control.
- Coordinating with various departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and maintaining all necessary documentation and records related to import and export activities.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the import/export process.
- Staying abreast of changes in import/export laws and regulations, and ensuring compliance at all times.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on import/export matters to internal teams and clients.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the import/export process.
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Import/ Export Coordinator position will possess the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on import/export coordination.
- Proficient in order processing, purchase orders, and purchasing.
- Excellent knowledge of import/export laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
