Responsibilities
- Lead and manage consulting projects related to tech services, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of issues, including revenue recognition, software as a service, intercompany accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and maintain regular communication to manage expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Oversee and manage the financial aspects of tech services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior consulting role within the tech industry.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, with a focus on financial management and business strategy.
- Expert knowledge of revenue recognition, software as a service, intercompany accounting, IFRS, and GAAP.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to decision-making.
- High level of professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
