Responsibilities
As an IT Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes within the IT department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Utilizing your utility industry experience to guide financial decisions and strategies.
- Leading capital forecasting and planning efforts, making sure all initiatives are financially viable and align with our strategic goals.
- Developing and managing the IT department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Providing accurate and timely forecasting reports, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
- Streamlining and enhancing IT financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Presenting financial findings and recommendations to senior management, providing them with a clear understanding of the IT department's financial position.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting Finance industry.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), capital forecasting, and capital planning.
- Solid understanding and experience in the utility industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in IT financial processes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently.
- An MBA or PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
