Our leading-edge tech services firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for delivering exceptional quality in our products and services. This role involves a strong focus on quality assurance, root cause analysis, quality control, and electronics, especially in the context of printed circuit board assemblies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement robust quality control systems for printed circuit board assemblies and other electronic components.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, developing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements across all areas of the business.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on quality assurance and control strategies and methodologies.
• Continuously monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor staff in quality assurance and control procedures and best practices.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends, ensuring our quality systems remain cutting-edge.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality engineering role within the tech services industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
• Proven experience with printed circuit board assemblies and other electronic components.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent understanding of quality control systems and methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff in quality procedures and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
• Ability to stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends.
