Responsibilities
As a Consulting Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Overseeing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Managing the consolidation of financial data for multiple entities.
- Maintaining the general ledger and reconciling account balances.
- Processing accounts payables and receivables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparing financial statements, reports, and analyses, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve financial reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing input into financial planning.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Utilizing NetSuite and Salesforce for financial management and reporting.
- Participating in special projects as needed, providing financial expertise and support.
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. A CPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Proven experience with month-end reporting, consolidations, accounts payables, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
