Salary $47 - $70 per hour

A Bit About Us

A prestigious and highly respected financial institution is seeking an accomplished Senior Program Manager Consultant to lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact business initiatives. This organization operates at scale across wealth management and broker/dealer verticals and is looking for a seasoned professional who can establish and mature a program management function while steering multiple enterprise-level work streams. This role is deeply embedded within the business—not IT—and will involve regular collaboration with senior leadership, including C-suite stakeholders.

This remote position requires occasional travel and offers a high-visibility platform to influence strategic outcomes in a highly regulated, results-driven environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent business and technical work streams within a high-value program portfolio
• Drive execution across complex M&A integrations and business transformation initiatives
• Facilitate decision-making processes at the executive level while navigating organizational, operational, and cross-functional challenges
• Deliver high-quality program artifacts including executive-level presentations, status reports, and strategic documentation
• Develop and manage program budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
• Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups to ensure alignment and timely execution
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring transparency and measurable value delivery across initiatives
• Establish scalable program management processes and governance frameworks
• Create actionable insights and recommendations based on business process analysis
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 20 years of professional experience
• 15 years of program management experience delivering complex portfolios including M&A, service integrations, business process improvement, and vendor/systems delivery
• Deep background in financial services, with direct experience in wealth management or broker/dealer environments highly preferred
• Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and influencing strategic direction
• Demonstrated experience managing project portfolios to budget and schedule with full accountability
• Strong ability to communicate with C-suite audiences through both written and verbal formats
• Expert-level skills in program governance, issue/risk management, and cross-functional coordination
• Excellent skills in business process analysis and contract interpretation
• High proficiency in producing executive-level documentation (PowerPoint, Word, reports)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Background in project or business analysis or software development is essential
• Ability to travel occasionally for key engagements or meetings
• MBA preferred
