Job Details
Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for various machines using G-code and other programming languages
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best manufacturing methods
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce complex parts with high precision
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
- At least 3 years of experience as a CNC set-up tech or machinist
- Proficient in programming languages such as G-code and experience with CNC machines such as Mori and Fanuc
- Experience with lathes, horizontal and vertical mills
- Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with Renishaw probing systems and tooling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other departments
