Essential Job Functions
- Accounts payable processing
- Bank Reconciliations
- Understanding of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flow
- Understanding of the General Ledger and Journal Entries
- Month-end financials
- Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
- Investor quarterly distributions
- Discounted cash flow and IRR
- Assist in analysis of the CRE property financials
- Assist with property budgets, quarterly re-forecasts, and variance analysis
- Willingness to learn advanced excel
- Assist in writing projects pertaining to real estate and economics
Education A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Experience Along with at least five-year experience in accounting
Skills The applicant must posses
- Accounting software management
- Detail and accuracy oriented
- Quantitative/analytical skills
- Deadline-driven, with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively on a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly curious
- Experience Gravity Accounting Software preferred
- Property Management experience
- Insurance experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Basic understanding of Databases
