Are you a numbers guru with a knack for precision and a passion for finance? We are in search of a permanent accountant who will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will have the opportunity to take charge of our accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial processes. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Responsibilities

As our permanent accountant, you will be responsible for

• Managing A/R and A/P entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Preparing comprehensive financial statements and presenting them to management.
• Conducting month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and Advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
• Preparing balance sheets and income statements.
• Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial reports.
• Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Working closely with the finance team to implement financial policies and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Advanced Excel.
• Experience with A/R, A/P, GL, preparing financial statements, and month-end reporting.
• Knowledge of tax laws and experience in preparing tax returns.
• Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the ability to manage a general ledger.
• Experience in preparing balance sheets and income statements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
