Responsibilities
As our permanent accountant, you will be responsible for
- Managing A/R and A/P entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Preparing comprehensive financial statements and presenting them to management.
- Conducting month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics and Advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Preparing balance sheets and income statements.
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial reports.
- Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Working closely with the finance team to implement financial policies and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you should have
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Advanced Excel.
- Experience with A/R, A/P, GL, preparing financial statements, and month-end reporting.
- Knowledge of tax laws and experience in preparing tax returns.
- Strong understanding of general ledger functions and the ability to manage a general ledger.
- Experience in preparing balance sheets and income statements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
