We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Consulting Accounting Assistant to join our team in the Energy industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in shaping the financial health of the company. As a Consulting Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, and maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, manage invoices and tax payments.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Perform 3-way match - verifying that purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices match.
- Assist in year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes.
- Maintain an organized and streamlined accounting system.
- Provide support to the Accounting Department as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
