Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RFQs and customer specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with account managers and customers to clarify specifications.
- Develop new technical proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Design and draw mechanical concepts using CAD (approximately 20% of proposals).
- Acquire cost data and calculate selling prices per internal guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of proposals and related documents.
- Ensure full traceability and accuracy of all cost data.
- Provide technical assistance to offsite account managers.
- Meet all scheduled proposal deadlines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or 3–10 years of relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Proposal development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), database systems, and CAD tools.
- Basic macro programming knowledge is a plus.
- Strong mechanical drawing interpretation and basic algebra skills.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work on-site in LaGrange, GA, with some flexibility for remote work.
