We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing outstanding design concepts for various projects. As an Architectural Designer, you will be involved in all stages of the architectural process, from conceptual design to construction administration. Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and executing outstanding design concepts for various projects. As an Architectural Designer, you will be involved in all stages of the architectural process, from conceptual design to construction administration. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and to be part of a team that is committed to innovation, creativity, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create architectural designs and concepts using CAD, BIM, AutoCAD 3D, Sketchup, and other design software.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients, including detailed drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure design integrity and compliance with building codes.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to architectural plans.
- Participate in all phases of the project, from initial concept development to final construction administration.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure the project's success and client satisfaction.
- Continually research and implement new design technologies and industry best practices to enhance the quality of architectural design.
- Manage and organize project files, documents, and other materials as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably in the engineering industry.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting, BIM, AutoCAD 3D, Sketchup, and other design software.
- Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Exceptional design and spatial planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, creative, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional registration as an Architect will be considered a significant advantage.
- A portfolio of previous design work demonstrating your skills and creativity is required.
