The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, Revenue Accounting, ASC 606, and Revenue Recognition. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Controller to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company, where you will play a critical role in our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A, Revenue Accounting, ASC 606, and Revenue Recognition. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Assisting in the management of the company's M&A activities.
- Overseeing the revenue accounting process to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
- Leading the revenue recognition process and ensuring that all revenue is recognized correctly and in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Participating in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures.
- Providing leadership and support to the accounting team.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree. CPA required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
- Proven experience with M&A, Revenue Accounting, ASC 606, and Revenue Recognition.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software and systems.
