Job Details
Our esteemed law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in bankruptcy law to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings and related matters, including litigation, mediations, and negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents such as motions, pleadings, orders, and agreements.
- Provide expert legal counsel to clients on bankruptcy laws, procedures, and potential outcomes.
- Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and to prepare legal memorandums.
- Develop and manage relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and to maintain the firm's reputation for excellent client service.
- Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to share knowledge, brainstorm solutions, and ensure best practices.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in the field of bankruptcy law.
- Active member in good standing with the state bar of PA.
- Proven experience in forbearance and a strong understanding of bankruptcy proceedings.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters favorably and efficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal documents and to prepare compelling legal arguments.
