We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lateral Construction Defect Attorney to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled attorney with a focus on construction defect litigation to further their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent clients in construction defect cases, managing all aspects of litigation from inception to resolution.
- Advise clients on risk management and provide strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Handle complex legal research and analysis related to construction defect claims.
- Collaborate with experts and other professionals to build strong cases for trial or settlement.
- Maintain regular client communication to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
- Participate in depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
- Mentor and assist junior attorneys with legal research, case preparation, and trial strategy.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and good standing bar membership in Texas.
- Preferably 5 years of experience in construction defect litigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
