This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases, providing legal representation for insurance companies in personal injury and casualty claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the legal industry, with a focus on Personal Injury.
Responsibilities
As our Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for
- Representing our clients in all stages of personal injury and casualty claims, from initial investigation through trial and appeal if necessary.
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and conducting discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
- Analyzing complex legal and factual issues, conducting extensive legal research, and synthesizing information into persuasive arguments.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes that align with our clients' business objectives.
- Collaborating with our team of attorneys and legal professionals to develop defense strategies, and providing guidance on insurance law and regulations.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with all applicable ethical standards.
- Keeping abreast of current developments in insurance law, and participating in professional development activities to enhance skills and expertise.
The successful candidate will have
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida State Bar.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on personal injury
- Proven experience handling personal injury and casualty claims.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and effective legal documents.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
- The ability to manage a large caseload, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
