The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of trust and estate matters, including estate planning, wealth management, and probate. The role requires a deep understanding of the legal industry and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be expected to
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to trusts, estates, probate, and wealth management.
- Draft and review various legal documents such as wills, trusts, estate plans, and power of attorney.
- Represent clients in probate and trust administration, including litigation and dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the most effective strategies for wealth preservation and transfer.
- Work closely with clients and their advisors to develop tailored estate planning solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in trust and estate laws and regulations to advise clients accordingly.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
To be considered for this position, you must have
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an attorney specializing in trusts and estates.
- Admission to the state bar where practicing.
- Proven experience in estate planning, wealth management, trust administration, and probate.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
