Responsibilities
As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to
- Handle a wide range of construction litigation and business law matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing motions, and managing all aspects of trial preparation and execution.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and solutions for our clients.
- Conduct thorough case analyses and investigations, identifying potential legal issues and developing appropriate responses.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and trends in construction litigation and business law.
- Provide legal advice to clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation and or business law.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal issues.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
