- Design, develop, install, and maintain automation systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance of our industrial processes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs and Loop Controllers to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
- Conduct system tests to verify and validate automation designs.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring safe and effective use of automation systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current technology trends in automation systems.
- Identify opportunities for automation within production processes.
- Document all automation processes and updates for future reference and audits.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations when installing and maintaining automation systems.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automation control systems, PLCs, and Loop Controllers.
- Proficient in programming and troubleshooting PLCs and Loop Controllers.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and industrial process control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety and health regulations in relation to automation systems.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest technology trends in automation systems.
