This role offers
Great hourly pay ( $53-55/hour) with competitive benefits( including 401k and profit sharing, 15 days of PTO after the 1st year !
Work-life-balance ( 7am-4pm Monday through Friday shift, with some weekends and OT)
Relocation assistance, up to $7,000 as well as 60-day local stay accommodations!
Job Details
Lead and manage a team of avionics technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members.
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Avionics Maintenance
Oversee the inspection, repair, and testing of avionics systems and components, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics-related issues on Pilatus, Cessna, and Piper aircraft.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standard and in compliance with FAA regulations.
Regulatory Compliance
Maintain compliance with Part 135 and Part 145 repair station requirements.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely audits and inspections.
Operational Efficiency
Collaborate with other departments to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize aircraft downtime.
Monitor and manage inventory of avionics tools, equipment, and parts.
Qualifications
Education & Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field preferred).
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or equivalent certification preferred.
FCC General Radio Telephone Operator's License (GROL) is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years in avionics maintenance, with at least 3-4 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience working in Part 135 and Part 145 repair stations.
Hands-on experience with Pilatus, Cessna's, and Piper aircraft avionics systems.
