ROLE OVERVIEW You'll work directly with partners representing corporate debtors in complex Chapter 11 proceedings, with significant responsibility and client interaction from the start. The firm's 1 1 partner-to-associate ratio ensures exceptional mentorship and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Draft bankruptcy pleadings, motions, and disclosure documents
- Participate in bankruptcy court hearings alongside partners
- Analyze financial data and transaction documents
- Research complex legal issues in bankruptcy and restructuring
- Support all phases of Chapter 11 proceedings
- Engage with clients under partner guidance
- JD from a well-regarded law school (minimum 3.4 GPA)
- 2-6 years of bankruptcy experience at a reputable firm
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Delaware bar admission or willingness to take the exam
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- 9.5% automatic employer 401k contribution (no match required)
- 4 weeks PTO
