Bankruptcy Associate Attorney

Salary: $120000.00 to $190000.00 yearly

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bankruptcy Associate Attorney in Wilmington, Delaware. As part of our team, the successful candidate will be actively involved in handling various legal issues, conducting comprehensive legal research, and developing defense strategies. The role involves extensive interaction with clients, court officials, and other legal representatives, and you will be expected to uphold our established office procedures in all communications.

Requirements

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct comprehensive legal research, and develop effective defense strategies.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, motions, briefs, and other legal filings.
• Conduct depositions, including expert and fact witness examinations.
• Provide clear and timely legal counsel to clients and claims professionals.
• Represent clients in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with courts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active Delaware bar admission (admissions in other states will be considered).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Bankruptcy or experience in Delaware courts.
• Litigation experience, including depositions, discovery, motions practice, and oral argument.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
