Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Process payroll and prepare quarterly & annual payroll tax returns
- File monthly sales tax, gross receipt tax, and lodging tax returns
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain general ledger and make adjusting journal entries
- Stay up to date on payroll regulations and state/local tax laws
- Generate accurate and timely financial statements
- Education & Licenses No CPA required, but relevant experience is a must
- Experience Minimum 3 years in accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping
- Software Proficiency QuickBooks, Accounting CS, Microsoft Office 365 (Word & Excel)
- Key Skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple clients
- Communication Strong written and verbal skills
