Responsibilities
As a Permanent Budget Analyst, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are integral to our financial operations. These include
- Developing and managing comprehensive annual and multi-year budgets.
- Performing detailed budget analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
- Preparing budget reports and presenting findings to senior management.
- Collaborating with department heads to develop budgets and financial plans.
- Reviewing and approving budget-related requests and expenditures.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of budgeting policies and procedures.
- Providing guidance and support to other team members in all budget-related matters.
- Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Conducting financial forecasting and modeling to support business planning.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in budget analysis or a similar role in the finance industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
