We are currently seeking a dynamic and innovative CAD Designer with experience in Civil Design/Engineering to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging heavy civil projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of various projects, contributing to our commitment to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. This role involves extensive interaction with various teams, requiring a collaborative approach and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D designs for civil engineering projects, including highways, real estate, bridges, and other heavy civil structures.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare and revise engineering drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software.
• Ensure all designs adhere to established standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular design reviews and make necessary adjustments to the designs based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Assist in the preparation of design reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure that project deadlines are met.
• Utilize design software tools and methodologies to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes by staying updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design, specifically within the civil engineering land development sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering concepts and principles, particularly in relation to heavy civil projects.
• Excellent technical drawing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
