We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cold End Process Improver to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in electrical engineering, six sigma, lean principles, and more, to optimize our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of our cold end processes, working closely with our production team to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

As a Cold End Process Improver, you will be responsible for the following

• Developing and implementing strategies to improve cold end processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality.
• Utilizing your expertise in electrical engineering to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to our cold end processes.
• Applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive process improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with the production team to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
• Conducting regular audits of cold end processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Utilizing your knowledge of glass, furnace, and CVD processes to optimize our cold end operations.
• Providing technical training and support to the production team to ensure efficient operation of cold end processes.
• Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of cold end processes, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
• Conducting root cause analysis of process failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and processes, with a focus on cold end operations.
• Experience with glass, furnace, and CVD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed process documentation.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
