Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Commercial Litigation Partner Attorney, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, shareholder disputes, and intellectual property litigation.

2. Developing and implementing litigation strategies, conducting and managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and preparing for and conducting trials.

3. Serving as lead counsel on complex commercial litigation matters, and as a trusted advisor to clients on risk management and litigation avoidance strategies.

4. Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and playing a key role in business development efforts, including pitching and proposal development.

5. Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas and offices to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.

6. Contributing to the firm's thought leadership efforts, including through speaking engagements, publications, and participation in industry events.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Commercial Litigation Partner Attorney position will possess the following qualifications :

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success in trial.

3. A portable book of business, demonstrating the ability to attract and retain clients.

4. Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes in a manner that achieves favorable outcomes for clients.

6. A deep understanding of the business and legal issues that companies face, and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.

7. Membership in good standing in the bar of the state in which you are applying.

8. A commitment to professional development and continuing education.

9. Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
