We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Controller to join our dynamic Accounting Finance team. This role is a crucial part of our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading financial operations in multi-entity environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Lead the financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development processes to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage financial audits.
- Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
- Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
- Oversee financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- Proven experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and KPI development.
- Experience leading financial operations in multi-entity environments.
- Able to analyze financial records and transfer information.
- Data-driven and highly analytical.
- Proficiency with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
