Position Overview The Controller, reporting to the CFO, will manage the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes AP, AR, Payroll, and General Ledger accounting.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- General ledger maintenance, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee AP, AR, and Payroll operations
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Timely financial reporting to senior management
- Supervise and coach department staff
- Budgeting & forecasting operations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as external regulations
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Continuous process and policy improvement
- Provide financial guidance and communication to other department heads
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years recent accounting experiences
- 2 years accounting leadership experience
- ASC 606
- ASC 842
- ERP / Accounting SW implementation experience
- CPA
- Public Accounting
