Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances, and preparing business activity reports.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
- Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Proven working experience as a Controller or in a similar role.
- 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial procedures, including GAAP/GASB standards.
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
- Leadership abilities and experience in managing a financial team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- CPA or CMA certification a strong preference.
- Hospital/Healthcare experience a huge plus, but not mandatory.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
