Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee all company accounts and investments, ensuring all financial operations are accurate and effective.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts, interpreting and presenting financial metrics to the management team.
• Lead the cost accounting process, including raw material cost, labor, and overhead cost analysis.
• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
• Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Experience in managing financials, fixed assets, annual budgeting, cost accounting, and cash flow.
• Familiarity with government reporting requirements.
• Experience in the oil field services industry is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
