We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to fill the role of Director of Project Management, specializing in Mechanical Construction Projects. This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee all aspects of project management within our fast-paced construction company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical construction, with a focus on piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities

As the Director of Project Management, your primary responsibilities will include

• Leading and managing a team of project managers to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.
• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of mechanical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Developing and implementing project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and performance goals.
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Resolving project issues and risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Providing regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in mechanical construction projects
  
  

involving piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Proven track record of successfully managing large scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Exceptional project management skills with a deep understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve project issues and risks effectively.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
