Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
- Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations.
- Design and draft electro-mechanical components for rubber and plastic manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with engineers to understand project requirements, generate designs, and implement improvements.
- Use AutoCAD to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
- Evaluate and modify existing designs to reduce production deficiencies.
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload.
- Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams.
- Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to established specifications and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD drafting, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of rubber manufacturing and plastic injection processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other related CAD software.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems and their integration in manufacturing.
- Exceptional technical drawing skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry, engineering, and CAD standards.
