- The Employee Benefits Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing andservicing our clients employee benefits programs. This role involvesmaintaining strong client relationships, ensuring compliance with relevantregulations, and working closely with internal teams and insurance carriers todeliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities : Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Plan Design and Implementation : Assist clients in designing and implementing employee benefits programs,including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Provide expert advice on plan options and customization to meet client needs. Renewals and Negotiations : Manage the annual benefits renewal process. Negotiate plan terms and rates with insurance carriers to secure the bestpossible options for clients. Present renewal proposals and recommendations to clients. Compliance and Regulation : Ensure all benefits plans comply with applicable laws and regulations,including the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and ERISA. Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting employeebenefits. Employee Education and Support : Conduct employee meetings and webinars to educate employees about theirbenefits options. Provide ongoing support to employees, helping them understand and utilizetheir benefits effectively. Claims Assistance : Assist clients and their employees with the claims process. Liaise with insurance carriers to resolve claims issues and ensure timelyprocessing. Reporting and Analysis : Analyze benefits utilization and costs. Prepare and present reports to clients, highlighting key insights andrecommending plan adjustments as needed. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits management, preferablywithin an insurance brokerage or similar environment. Strong understanding of employee benefits products and regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in benefits administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
